Butter Rum Sauce

• 3/4 cup maple syrup
• 2 Tablespoons butter
• 2 Tablespoons dark rum

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat over moderate heat until the butter has melted. Makes 1 cup.
