Cheesy Baked Eggs
- 2 teaspoons butter, softened
- 4 tablespoons half and half
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 4 eggs
- 1 ounce shredded American cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or parsley
Instructions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. With butter, lightly grease four 6 ounce custard cups or ovenproof ramekins; place on cookie sheet.
2. Add 1 tablespoon half and half, 1/8 teaspoon salt and dash pepper to each cup. Break 1 egg into each cup. Sprinkle with cheese and chives.
3. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Remove from oven; let eggs stand for 2 minutes before serving.
