Brownie Mix


In large container with lid in order to shake to mix that will hold 20 cups, combine:

• 6 Cups sifted all purpose flour
• 4 Teaspoons baking powder
• 4 Teaspoons salt
• 8 Cups sugar
• 2-1/2 Cups Hershey's cocoa (8 oz. can)

Apply cover and shake to mix. Then cut in a one pound can of Crisco (equal to 2 cups). Seal and store.

To make 1 batch of brownies

• 2 Cups OF brownie mix
• 2 Eggs
• 1 Teaspoon vanilla
• (nuts optional)

Grease 8 x 8 pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 F.
Yields 1 dozen
