Caramelicious Brownies
BROWNIES:
- 1 Package Pillsbury Rich Moist Fudge Brownie -- (1 lb. 3.5-oz.) Mix
- 1/2 Cup oil
- 1/4 Cup water
- 2 eggs
TOPPING:
- 20 vanilla caramels, unwrapped
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions:
Heat oven to 350 F. Grease bottom of 13x9-inch pan. In large bowl, combine all brownie ingredients; beat 50 strokes with spoon. Do not undermix. Spread in greased pan. Bake at 350 F. for 31 to 33 minutes.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt caramels with milk, stirring occasionally until smooth. Keep warm.
Immediately after removing brownies from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Drizzle with hot caramel mixture. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. Cut into bars.
Makes 24 bars
