Triple Layer Treat
1st layer:
- 1 lg. box brownie mix (or you can make your own favorite brownie recipe)
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
2nd: layer:
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 can condensed milk
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
3rd layer: (Vanilla icing)
- 3 cup confectionary sugar
- 6 Tablespoons melted butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- About 1/4 cup milk (enough to spread)
3rd Layer: (Chocolate icing)
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1 square unsweetened chocolate (semi-sweet may be substituted)
- 1 cup confectionary sugar
- 2 Tablespoons boiling water
Instructions:
Mix brownies according to directions, adding nuts, if desired. Spread in
greased 13" x 9" x 2" pan. Mix together graham
crumbs, condensed milk, chocolate chips and 1/2 cup nuts. Spread on top
of brownies. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
COOL. Combine 3 cups confectionary sugar, 6 Tbsp. melted butter, vanilla
and milk and spread on cooled brownies.
Melt butter 2 Tbsp. butter and chocolate until smooth. Add 1 cup
confectionary sugar and water. Pour and spread over
white frosting. Let cool. Refrigerate. I cut them in thin slices and
freeze. They are very rich so you only need a tiny piece! It
makes a LOT!!!!
