Praline Cheesecake
- 1 cup graham cookie crumbs
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- 3 Tablespoons margarine, melted
Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine; press into bottom of a 9-inch
springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Take out of oven and
increase oven setting to 450 degrees for the next part of recipe:
- 3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
- 1 1/4 cup baked dark brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed with
electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well
after
each addition. Blend in vanilla and stir in nuts. Pour mixture over baked
crust.
Bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce heat to 250 degrees and
continue
baking for 30 minutes more. Loosen cake from rim of pan. Cool before
removing the rim of the pan. Chill. Brush with maple syrup and garnish with
pecans.
