Chinese Chews
Chinese Chews
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 6-ounce pack pitted dates, cut in thirds
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup walnut pieces
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and
mix well. All all other ingredients and mix well. Bake in 9x9 or
7x11 greased pan for 35-45 minutes. Cool. When cooled, cut into
squares and dust with powdered sugar.
