Color Cookies

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 teaspoon water
• 1 egg
• 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup M & M's candies

Instructions:
Blend shortening and sugars; beat in vanilla, water, and egg. Sift rest of dry ingredients; add to the sugar/egg mixture. Mix well. Stir in candies. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375-degrees for 10 - 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
