Many Moons
- 1 cup soft margarine or butter
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup confectioners' powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup oatmeal
- Additional powdered sugar for coating
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Beat margarine or butter until creamy.
Add powdered sugar gradually. Blend in vanilla. Mix together flour
and salt and add to first mixture. Stir in oats. Shape into
crescents on an ungreased cookie sheet. Makes 3 dozen. Bake about 25
minutes. After baking, and while they are still a bit warm, shake
them a few at a time in a plastic bag with some powdered sugar for a
coating.
