Biscochitos
- 6 Cups All purpose flour
- 6 teaspoons Baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 Cups sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups vegetable shortening
- 1 Cup water
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Anise liquid
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon and Sugar for sprinkling
Instructions:
Cream together the Shortening, sugar, eggs, Anise and Vanilla. Add
the dry ingredients then the water. Roll onto a floured surface to
your desired thickness. Sprinkle with Cinnamon and sugar. Bake at
350 about ten to fifteen minutes until cookies are browned.
