Brides Bars

• 1 Box cake mix
• 2 eggs for chewy bars or 3 eggs for cake bars
• 1 Whole can pie filling, (21 oz.)
• 1/2 Cup chopped nuts, (optional)

FROSTING

• 2 Cups powdered sugar
• 1 Whole pkg. cream cheese, (8 oz.) softened
• 3 Tablespoons cocoa

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine mix, eggs, pie filling and nuts. Spread this mixture on a greased jellyroll pan. Bake 30 minutes. For Frosting: Combine ingredients in bowl and spread over cooled cake. Cut into bars.
Yield: 12 to 15 servings.

Variations: Chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling. Spice cake mix, apple pie filling. Banana cake mix, blueberry pie filling. Strawberry cake mix, strawberry pie filling.
