Chocolate Cinnamon Chewies

• 1 pkg plain devils food cake mix
• 1/3 cup water
• 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
• 1 egg
• 1 cup Hershey's cinnamon chips
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet with solid vegetable shortening. Place dry cake mix, water, butter and egg in large bowl. Blend with electric mixer on low for 1 minute. Increase speed to medium and beat 1 minute more. Dough is thick. Stir in cinnamon chips and nuts. Drop scant teaspoonful of dough onto cookie sheet. Bake 7-8 minutes. Let stand on cookie sheet 3 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
While cookies are cooling, make glaze. Place 2/3 cup cinnamon chips and 1 1/2 teaspoon shortening in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on High for 30 seconds or until melted. Stir well. Drizzle over cookies.
