Chocolate Crinkles
Chocolate Crinkles
- 1/2 cup veg. oil
- 4 sq. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
Mix oil, chocolate and sugar. Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla. Stir flour, baking powder and salt into oil mixture. Chill dough several hours or overnight.
Heat oven to 350 deg. Grease baking sheet.
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into powder sugar. Roll in sugar; shape into balls. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
Bake 10-12 min. or until almost no imprint remains when touched lightly in center. Avoid over-baking or they'll get hard.
Makes about 6 dozen
