Crockpot Chicken and Rice
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 package onion (1.2 ounce) soup mix
- 1 cup uncooked converted white rice
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cans cream of (10.75 ounce) mushroom soup, undiluted
- salt
- ground black pepper
- nonstick cooking spray
Instructions:
1 Mix together onion soup mix, milk, cream of mushroom soup, and rice in a medium bowl.
2 Coat crock pot interior with cooking spray. Lay chicken breasts in bottom. Place one tablespoon margarine on each chicken breast. Pour soup mixture over chicken
breasts. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
3 Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours, or on High for 4 to 6 hours.
