Teriyaki Chicken
- 2 lbs Boneless chicken breasts -- skinless
- 1 package frozen broccoli, carrots and water chestnut
- 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon ginger
hot cooked rice
Instructions:
Rinse chicken and pat dry. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces. Place frozen
vegetables in crock pot. Sprinkle with tapioca. Place chicken pieces on top
of vegetables. In small bowl, mix chicken broth, brown sugar, teriyaki
sauce, mustard, orange peel and ginger. Pour sauce over chicken pieces.
Cover; cook on low 4-6 hours or on high 2-3 hours. Serve over hot cooked
rice.
