Apple Crisp
APPLES:
- 4 tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup hot water
BATTER:
- 1 egg, (well beaten)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
APPLES:
Place apples in a casserole dish and Cover with sugar, cinnamon and hot
water.
BATTER:
In a large bowl, mix above ingredients and pour this batter over the top
of the apples after. Place bits of butter over the top. Bake at 400
degrees about 20 minutes or until apples are done.
Serves 8-10
