Death by Chocolate
- 37 Oreo cookies, large pkg., divided
- 14-oz. package Kraft caramels
- 5-oz. can evaporated milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 12-oz. container of Cool Whip, divided
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions:
Finely crush 25 Oreo cookies and spread them in a 9x13 pan. Melt caramels with evaporated milk and margarine. Pour
mixture over cookies in pan and cool. Cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup of the Cool Whip. Spread
over caramel layer. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle with remaining 12 Oreo cookies, finely crushed, and pecans.
Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving.
