No-Boil Lasagna
- 10 oz. UNCOOKED lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. shredded mozzarella
Sauce:
- 1 lb. lean ground chuck
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt
- 24 oz. tomato sauce
- 18 oz. tomato paste
Filling:
- 3 cups cottage or ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tablespoons parsley flakes
- 2 beaten eggs
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Brown meat & drain; add remaining sauce ingredients and simmer. Mix together filling ingredients in a separate bowl. Spread a small amount of sauce to cover the bottom of a deep 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer 1/2 UNCOOKED noodles, 1/2 filling, 1/2 mozzarella, and 1/2 meat sauce; repeat. Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of water on top; cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for one hour, uncovering the last 10 minutes. Let sit 10 minutes.
