Shrimp Fettuccini 2
- 1 lb. fettucine, cooked
- 1 stick butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 8 oz. heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
In a large skillet, combine butter, onion, shrimp, basil, red pepper,
salt, and pepper. Saute for two minutes, then add tomato sauce and heavy cream. Bring to boil and simmer until sauce is creamy,about 3 minutes. Add sauce and cheese to pasta, mix, and serve immediately. Serves 4-6.
