Pear Praline Pie
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 4 fresh pears UNpeeled and sliced
- 1 15oz refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine melted
Instructions:
Stir together 1st 3 ingredients in large bowl,add pear
slices and toss .Fit 1 pie crust in 9" deepdish pie
plate according to package directions, arrange pear
mixture in crust. Combine sugar, pecans and butter. Stir
till blended. Spoon evenly over pear mixture top with
remaing crust. Fold edges under, crimp and seal. Cut
several slits on top. Light one side of the grill
place pie on other side, grill covered over med heat
300-350 degrees for one hour and 30 min.or bake
@350 for 45 minutes.
