Strawberry Pie




Instructions:
Dissolve 1 small box strawberry jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir into this over low heat, 1/2 c. strawberry jam. Blend well. In small jar with tight fitting lid or in blender combine til smooth 1/2 cold water, 4 TB cornstarch. Stir into Jello-Jam mixture until thickened and clear. Cool to lukewarm. Spoon 1/3 of this mixture into bottom of a 9" baked and cooled pastry shell. Place 1 quart washed & hulled strawberries hull side down side-by-side over bottom of pastry. Spoon remaining jello-jam mixture over berries. Chill several hours or overnight before cutting. Serve with whipped cream.
