Brandy Alexander Pie #2
- 30 large marshmallows
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon brandy
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon creme de cocoa
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 cups cool whip
Pie Crust:
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 egg yolk
- small amount of water
Instructions:
In sauce pan over medium heat, mix until melted the marshmallows and milk. Pour 1/2 mixture in small bowl, bring to room temperature and add brandy and creme de cocoa. To remaining mixture in pan, add chocolate chips. Stir over low heat until melted and blended. Add vanilla. Refrigerate both mixtures until firm mounds form. Stir. Add 2 cups cool whip to chocolate mixture and pour into pie crust. Add 2 cups cool whip to white mixture and pour on top, shave chocolate on top.
Pie Crust:
Cut shortening in to dry ingredients. Add egg yolk and water if
needed. Press in pie pan and bake 375 for 15-18 minutes.
