Banana Milkshake

Ingredients :
  • 1 medium sized ripe banana
  • 1 cup of skim milk
  • 1 tablespoon of substitute sugar, add more if needed
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Directions :
    Remove peel from banana. Wrap banana in heavy duty plastic wrap, and freeze until firm. Remove banana from freezer, and cut into large chunks. Place banana in container of an electric blender; Add milk, sugar and vanilla. Cover and process on high speed 2 minutes on until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses to serve


    Christmas Wassail

    Ingredients :
  • 4 cups unsweetened apple juice
  • 3 cups low-calorie unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
  • 4 packets of artificial sweetener
  • lemon slices
  • apple slices
  • orange slices
  •  

    Directions :
    Combine the apple juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, nutmeg, cinnamon stick. Simmer for 10 minutes; do not boil. Pour into a punch bowl and add the sweetener; lemon slices, apple slices and orange slices to the top. Stir and serve.


    Citrus Punch

    Ingredients :
  • 6 small tea bags
  • 4 cups of boiling water
  • 8 packets artificial sweetener
  • 1 (6 oz) can frozen orange juice, thawed and undiluted
  • 1 (6 oz) can frozen lemonade, thawed and undiluted
  • 10 cups of cold water
  • Directions :
    Steep the tea bags in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Do not boil. Discard the tea bags and add the remaining ingredients. Serve over ice.


    Fruity Punch

    Ingredients :
  • 1 (3 oz) box sugar free cherry gelatin
  • 1 quart boiling water
  • 3 quarts cool water
  • 1 (46 oz) can pineapple juice, unsweetened
  • 1 quart sugar free lemon-lime soda
  • Directions :
    Dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water. Add the cool water and pineapple juice. Chill in the refrigerator, when ready to serve, pour into a punch bowl and add the sugar free soda. Stir well. Garnish with sliced lemons and limes.


    Fruit Slush

    Ingredients :
  • 6 packets artificial sweetener
  • 6 cups of water
  • 1 (46 oz) can unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 (12 oz) cans unsweetened frozen orange juice, undiluted
  • 1 (12 oz) can unsweetened frozen lemonade, undiluted
  • 5 bananas
  • sugar free lemon lime soft drink
  •  

    Directions :
    Bring the water to a boil, cool for 10 minutes, and then stir in the sugar substitute. Add the remaining ingredients except the lemon lime drink and pour into 5 one quart freezer containers or several ice cube trays. Freeze. When ready to serve, fill glasses half full of lemon lime flavored soft drink, 5 ounces of the mixture and several ice cubes.
