Pesto Sauce
3 cups packed fresh basil 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup olive oil 5 tablespoons pine nuts 4 cloves garlic, crushed Salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients in food processor. Process to a smooth paste. Sauce will keep for a few days if refrigerated, but for ultimate taste, use immediately. Makes enough sauce for 1-1-1/2 pounds pasta. |
