BOW TIES IN ALFREDO SAUCE |

Boil water for the bow ties. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce while you are waiting for the water to boil. In a medium saucepan melt butter over low heat. Stir in flour and let brown just a little. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly. Do this in small batches until you have added all the milk. Put the bow ties in the boiled water. keep stirring the alfredo Sauce mixture until it starts to thicken. On medium heat this may take a few minutes. Once the Alfredo Sauce mixture thickens lower the heat to just a simmer. Stir the mixture occasionally. Right before the bow ties will be ready, shut off the heat on the Alfredo Sauce mixture. Add the parmesan cheese to Alfredo Sauce mixture slowly while stirring constantly. Then add the parsley to the mixture. Drain bow ties throughly and toss gently with the mixture. Now it's ready to serve. |
