Music & Instruments

·          Using Your Own Instrument?
Before you come to rehearsal, make sure that your instrument is in good condition and that you have all the supplies you’ll need (reeds, valve oil, cork grease, drumsticks)

·         Using a School Instrument?
If you are a new or returning student who will need to use a school instrument, let Mr. O’Toole know BEFORE AUGUST 30th via email or phone message, then come to rehearsal early to sign out an instrument. You will STILL need to supply your own reeds, oil, cork grease, etc.

·          New Pep Band Members
If you are a new member, contact Mr. O’Toole and let him know what instrument you play so he can prepare a folder for you.

Purchasing Pep Band Attire

·          Both new and returning band members can buy band attire (T-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts) at Pre-Season Rehearsal

·          All members must have both a Pep Band T-shirt and a Pep Band windbreaker  (sweatshirts are optional) (prices TBA)

·          T-shirts, windbreakers, and sweatshirts can be purchased at Pre-Season Rehearsals

·          Windbreaker and sweatshirt prices will include your name/nickname embroidered on the sleeve

·          Samples should be available at rehearsal for sizing purposes

Getting Band on Your Class Schedule

If you did not get Band on your class schedule, CALL GUIDANCE TO FIX THE PROBLEM.  While scheduling went exceptionally well this year, the schedule is generated by a computer program that has its’ own set of priorities – that may or may not be the same as yours.  It may be well worth your time to make a call to your guidance counselor.
