Martie Seidel

Martha Elenor Erwin Seidel was born October 12, 1969. Her sister is also in the Dixie Chicks - Emily. Martie has a stepson, Carter, who is 4 years old. Martie plays the fiddle at age 5 and later learned to play the mandolin. During her spare time, Martie enjoys to ski, golf, and go horseback riding. When asked about what she thought about their competition, The Lynns and The Kinleys, Martie said, "We love 'em both. The neat thing about girls on the road is that we have the same interests. We only get about five days off each month, so we take care of ourselves." So what do they do during those five days off? "Shopping if our first priority."
