Back on
Walton's Mountain, folks went down to Ike Godsey's
General Store for a number of things. They'd go down
for their groceries, clothes, nails, hardware, and
their
medicines. They also considered Godsey's a gathering
place to swap tales like Grandpa Walton would've been
doing or playin' checkers or pool, and perhaps
sippin' a little bit of "the Recipe". 'course if
Grandma caught Zeb doin' that, he'd catch it when he
got home. This page is featuring the many fine links
that I've found so far to other pages, much like
mine. I enjoy them and I'm sure you will too...Hey
Grandpa, pass me a sip of that "recipe" before it's
all gone.......
