CD Cover
Troy Willy is proud to announce the release of their first CD entitled "New York Country" on Fat Note Records.

Why "New York Country"? It's simple. Country music has always been more about attitude than location and no one has more attitude than a New Yorker, especially a Bronxite.

This is America's music; music that expresses the simple, basic concerns, traditions and values of the average American. From the rowdy opening track, "Lady Let Your Hair Down", to the final track, "Old Buddy", these are songs that everyone, no matter their background, can understand.

"New York Country" is a journey
across the hills and valleys of life and love:

  • "Lady Let Your Hair Down" and "Party Tonight" - Two views on one idea: Ya gotta let loose once in a while.
  • "We Are One" - When the right one comes along, you know it.
  • "I Like Garth" - Who Doesn't! (He's the one got us started on this whole thing .)
  • "Simple Pleasures" - Life is good.
  • "Let Me Be Your Fool" - Love is frustrating.
  • "Your Honor" - Honesty is always the best policy.
  • "Hold On" and "Mama, I Hope I Done You Proud" - There's no sense in worrying 'bout the way things could have been. This life ain't so bad.
  • "Run Away" - Then, again...
  • "(Ghost)Riders In The Sky" - This is a song they were playing long before they became Troy Willy; a nod to tradition and history.
  • "Old Buddy" - A toast to the past.

New York is not your typical country locale
and Troy Willy is not your typical country band.
S'anyway, listen, enjoy. You got a problem with that?
