Lord Garelius
Back to Main Page
Garelius comes from England. In the 15th Century he owned an apothecary. Within his store he sold all manner of drugs, medicinal herbs and pagan cures. He was a well-respected man, and he became wealthy off his sales. One thing no one knew was that this highly regarded businessman was also a warlock, trained in the arcane arts. In the cellar of his store was a hoard of magical tomes and spell components. It was there that he and his fellow mages gathered to discuss events and plans.
He was discovered by a powerful, but relatively young Tremere, a childe of Meerlinda. Garelius was offered a chance to die or live forever. He accepted the offer and joined the Tremere. He was put in charge of beginning a chantry in Wales. Garelius traveled to Cardiff and became rather successful. When Meerlinda and her brood moved to the New World, Garelius followed. After spending nearly 100 years on the east coast, primarily in the Carolinas, he moved to Nashville, capitol of a new state that he wished to exploit. He later rose to the position of Lord and now oversees all chantries in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama and Mississippi.
