Jasmine was the only child of a wealthy businessman. Her father was one of the most powerful men in Nashville's textile business. When he dies, she was 14 and his will left the family fortune to her once she turned 20. Her mother was an alcoholic, so Jasmine's father only willed her mother enough to survive on and to pay the bills. Jasmine also took over her father's controlling share of the family business. She was embraced by Matteus, the Kindred Prince of Nashville. He coveted her money, financial holdings and the manipulative control she weilded upon any politician or businessman who came her way.    She quickly became Matteus' pupil, and she served him for over one hundred years until his assassination. She has taken up the Primogen role for her clan, and she has taken on the task of rebuilding her clan's once prominant role in the city.
