Historical Timeline

Gangrel had good numbers, but too disorganized.
Brujah entered the scene & began making presence known.
Toreador were few, but fed off "grass roots" music, art & poetry.
Malkavians were rare.
Ventrue began infiltrating merchant community & headed area toward commercial progress.
Nosferatu were first Kindred in the area, but were unknown for some time.

Late 1700's:
First Prince "appointed." John Langford, 7th gen. Ventrue.
City grew & with it, Ventrue's prosperity.
Brujah & Gangrel disturbed by Ventrue's disregard for human condition & overbearance among Kindred.
First anarchs known.
Toreador help create bluegrass & inspire local color.
Nosferatu create first subterranean havens & tunnels.

1793 - Stanley Markham, anarch leader with growing following, is destroyed by orders of Prince Langford. Anarchs call "blood hunt" on Ventrue. Brujah & Gangrel join in. Two Ventrue destroyed and several anarch, Brujah and Gangrel. Many ghouls killed and Ventrue property & holdings damaged. Many Brujah & Gangrel become anarchs.

1798 - Langford sent to Final Death. Believed to be at hands of Brujah. City run by Primogen Council for several years.

1801 - Andus Bralecus arrives & assumes role of Gangrel primogen within months. Begins organizing clan.

1804 - Matteus arrives in Nashville.

1806 - Matteus names himself Prince. No one contests.

1814 - Brujah primogen found staked. Rumors say Ventrue / Brujah animosity. Dieter Bruenor named primogen.

1817 - Nosferatu Great Hall completed beneath Nashville while all others remain unaware.

1822 - Tremere set up first chantry led by Lord Garelius.

1826 - Three Kindred (2 Ventrue, 1 Toreador) mysteriously found staked - each months apart. Search for answers turns up Malkavian antidiluvian Stiacese, who grips city's Kindred in reign of terror. Other Malkavians join the antidiluvian.

1827 - Matteus organized Camarilla clans to fight Stiacese - only Malkavians refuse.

1829 - Stiacese destroyed at hands of Andus, Gillehaney (Brujah), Lord Garelius and Khopus (Ventrue elder from Florida Territory). Malkavian followers destroyed except for Michael Hinkle who was banished (fled to Canada).

1830 - Camarilla's peaceful alliance quickly shattered after Nosferatu ancillae is blamed for murder of Toreador elder. Nosferatu was caught fleeing city to the east and staked by coterie of Ventrue and Toreador neonates. Anarchs, who number less than half-a-dozen, spoke out on Nosferatu's behalf, claiming he destroyed Toreador elder rightfully, only after he was deceived.

Civil War - Many Kindred lost their unlives, particularly to burned mansions. Matteus managed to keep control during the struggle. Several pro-Confederate groups emerged. Anarchs trived. After the war, city began to pick up pieces. A few wandering Kindred entered the city, while others were Embraced.

1872 - Roman Gaetan moved to Nashville. Quickly led Toreador to prosperity. Steared them toward broader range of the Arts: plays, dance, painting, sculpture, etc. Helped music industry develop.

1877 - jealousy led Ventrue ancillaes to attack one of Gaetan's projects for a drama theatre. Many of Gaetan's ghouls were destroyed, as was the theatre, Gaetan swore vengence on Ventrue.
