617 feet, 33
stories
Construction started in 1992
and ended in 1994, and ever since then the
BellSouth Headquarters building in Nashville has
become an icon. This is definately Nashville's
signature skyscraper. Commonly referred to as the
"Batman Building," this is currently the tallest
building in the state of Tennessee and definately a
work of art. A 50 foot high atrium occupies
the top floor, along with 100 feet spires. Because
of each floor being tall, with the atrium and
spires on top of that, the building only has 33
stories. The tallest Nashville building in stories
is the Nashville City Center 2, with 40 floors.
Yet, the building is shorter.
