410 feet, 30
stories
This was the very first major
skyscraper in Nashville. At 410 feet, the
L&C Tower is by far one of the most
intriguing buildings of Nashville. One of the
reasons isn't the shape. It isn't the red lettering
at the top. It is the age. The building began
construction in the mid 1950's, and it opened in
1957. At the time, it was one of the tallest in the
southeastern US. The building has been maintained
well and still looks nice. The windows and how they
are layered into the building with other glass
looks very intriguing.
