 346 feet, 23 stories Smothered by the 617ft BellSouth Tower next door, this building was formerly known as the First Union Bank Tower. But with all the mergers and deals going on nowadays, buildings never use the same title for long it seems. This building is absolutely beautiful, with dark glass covering it, and a unique shape. Construction began in 1983 and finished in 1985. While not particularly tall (8 other buildings downtown being taller), it is definately one of the most unique. Images/Photography |
