Mark 12:29 And Jesus Answered Him, The First Of All The Commandments Is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord OUR God Is One Lord:

This is the first commandment that Jesus gave and that is "The Lord OUR God Is One Lord".  If Jesus only said: "The Lord YOUR God Is One Lord" ,there would have been some ambiguity as to whether Jesus was God.  But Jesus said  “The Lord OUR God Is One Lord”  therefore he removed all ambiguity by his utterance so that no one can ever rightly say that Jesus was God.  Someone who has a God can never be your God.  This is the first commandment of Jesus yet we see that the majority of Christiandom break this very first commandment by making Jesus their God and then they think they are saved and will inherit paradise.  Such a belief is totally unbiblical and against the teachings of Jesus.

Jesus said:

Mt 19:17 And He Said Unto Him, Why Callest Thou Me Good? There Is None Good But One, That Is, God: But If Thou Wilt Enter Into Life, Keep The Commandments.

Jesus didn't say "take me as your personal savior and you will go to heaven" he said "Keep The Commandments", yet most Christians break the very first commandment of Jesus in the Bible let alone other commandments, by taking Jesus as a God and then they expect to go to heaven! It is one of the strangest religious phenomenon in existence.

Jesus said:

Mt 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Righteousness is not defined by faith alone but through faith and deeds, and Jesus is saying that heaven is not for you if your righteousness is not better than the practicing jew.  Now we shall look at other biblical verses that make the picture more clear, though the above is quite sufficient for those that are truthful to themselves:

Num 23:19 God Is Not A Man, That He Should Lie; Neither The Son Of Man, That He Should Repent: Hath He Said, And Shall He Not Do It? Or Hath He Spoken, And Shall He Not Make It Good?

This verse is in the Old Testament and it is quite explicit and clear.  No man can be God.  Not only that but no son of man can be God.  The New Testament did not come to contradict the Old Testament; it came to fulfill it so it is obvious that Jesus was not God.

John 9:11 He Answered And Said, A MAN That Is Called Jesus Made Clay, And Anointed Mine Eyes, And Said Unto Me, Go To The Pool Of Siloam, And Wash: And I Went And Washed, And I Received Sight.

Mt 8:20 And Jesus Saith Unto Him, The Foxes Have Holes, And The Birds Of The Air Have Nests; But The SON OF MAN Hath Not Where To Lay His Head.

Jesus is called both a man and the son of man in the New Testament so many times.

Job 25:4-6 How Then Can Man Be Justified With God? Or How Can He Be Clean That Is Born Of A Woman? Behold Even To The Moon, And It Shineth Not; Yea, The Stars Are Not Pure In His Sight.  How Much Less Man, That Is A Worm? And The Son Of Man, Which Is A Worm?

This verse shows that man can not even be rightly compared to God (let alone be God).  Nothing is pure or clean compared to God.  We are all like worms compared to God.  Even the son of man is like a worm compared to God (there is no comparison).  It is very interesting that the verse states that "How Can He Be Clean That Is Born Of A Woman".  Jesus was born of a women, though Mary was the holiest of women but she was still a woman.  So in the biblical terminology even Jesus is not pure compared to God so how in heaven or earth can anyone call him God? This reminds me of the well recorded statement of Jesus recorded in the New Testament so many times:

Luke 18:19 And Jesus Said Unto Him, Why Callest Thou Me Good? None Is Good, Save One, That Is, God.

Mark 10:18 And Jesus Said Unto Him, Why Callest Thou Me Good? There Is None Good But One, That Is, God.

Mt 19:17 And He Said Unto Him, Why Callest Thou Me Good? There Is None Good But One, That Is, God: But If Thou Wilt Enter Into Life, Keep The Commandments.

Jesus is repeatedly saying, "I am not good, only God is good, I am not pure, only God is Absolutely Pure and Holy and glorious is His name.  If you want to go to heaven KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.  " But what do we say? We say "If you want to go to heaven call Jesus GOD and believe he died for you!" It is so unbiblical let alone against common sense.

Jesus says:

John 20:17 Jesus Saith Unto Her, Touch Me Not; For I Am Not Yet Ascended To My Father: But Go To My Brethren, And Say Unto Them, I Ascend Unto My Father, And Your Father; And To My God, And Your God.

Jesus is calling God both my God and your God, my Father and your Father.  If Jesus has a God Jesus can't be God.  It is simple common sense.  If Jesus was God who did Jesus pray to, himself? Imagine Jesus (if he was God) falling on his face praying to himself? God does not pray, but his servants pray to Him.

John 11:42 And I Knew That Thou Hearest Me Always: But Because Of The People Which Stand By I Said It, That They May Believe That Thou Hast Sent Me.

Mt 26:39 And He Went A Little Farther, And Fell On His Face, And Prayed, Saying, O My Father, If It Be Possible, Let This Cup Pass From Me: Nevertheless Not As I Will, But As Thou Wilt.

Heb 5:7 Who In The Days Of His Flesh, When He Had Offered Up Prayers And Supplications With Strong Crying And Tears Unto Him That Was Able To Save Him From Death, And Was Heard In That He Feared;

Mt 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Luke 5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

Luke 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Mt 26:36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

Mt 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Lu 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

We all know that only God is omnipotent.  God can do anything He wills.  He has full power over all of His creation.  If somone admits that he/she is not omnipotent it is obvious as the sun that that person can never be God.  So what did Jesus say about this?

John 5:30 I Can OF MINE Own Self DO NOTHING: As I Hear, I Judge: And My Judgment Is Just; Because I Seek Not Mine Own Will, But The Will Of The Father Which Hath Sent Me.

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

John 7:16 Jesus Answered Them, And Said, My Doctrine Is Not Mine, But His That Sent Me.

John 8:42 Jesus Said Unto Them, If God Were Your Father, Ye Would Love Me: For I Proceeded Forth And Came From God; NEITHER CAME I OF MYSELF, But He Sent Me.

John 17:3 And This Is Life Eternal, That They Might Know Thee The Only True God, And Jesus Christ, Whom Thou Hast Sent.

John 6:29 Jesus Answered And Said Unto Them, This Is The Work Of God, That Ye Believe On Him Whom HE Hath Sent.

Let alone claiming to be omnipotent, not only does Jesus admit that he is not but he says that he is capable of doing absolutely nothing on his own.  That is how humble he is before his Creator.  He furthermore admits that there is a difference between his will and the will of God but that which makes him special is that he seeks the will of God and not his own will.  He furthermore clarifies that God sent him.  If Jesus was God he wouldn't say God sent him, he would say I came on my own power and leave.  Imagine someone saying "I sent myself"! It doesn't make any sense at all to say that Jesus is God.

Joh 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

Joh 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

We all know that only God knows everything.  God is omniscient.  If someone admits that they don't know everything that person can never be God.  It is very obvious.  So what did Jesus say about knowing everything?

Mr 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Mt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Jesus admits that he does not have knowledge of the hour (the day of Judgement).  Only God knows that.  Therefore it is clear that Jesus is not God.  A lot of poor christians take the words of Jesus out of context and interpret it the way they want to believe but Jesus himself makes the meanings of his words quite clear for those that want to listen.  Some take the words of Jesus "I and my father are one" to mean that Jesus is God.  Such poor christians are unfair only to themselves.  Jesus explains the meaning of biblical oneness:

John 17:21 That They All May Be One; As Thou, Father, Art In Me, And I In Thee, That They Also May Be One In Us: That The World May Believe That Thou Hast Sent Me.

So looking at the above verse do you ever hear anyone saying that all of us are also God because Jesus is one with the Father and we are all one with the Father and Jesus? Of course not, so why deliberately misinterpret the words of Jesus? The ‘oneness’ that Jesus talks about is oneness in purpose.

Lastly I will quote something that alone makes the truth clear for those that want to see:

1Jo 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time.  If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1Ti 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

No man can see God.  Jesus was seen therefore Jesus is not God.  It is simple as 1+1=2 but for those that have been indoctrinated (brain-washed) since childhood that 1+1+1=1, no wonder so many people can't see straight!

peace,
