Nassau County Home Educators is a Christian Homeschool support group representing many denominations. Our purpose is as follows: uphold Christian values, provide academic excellence and educational opportunities for our children, support new and veteran homeschoolers, share information and exchange ideas about homeschooling and stay informed of current legal and legislative happenings.
Membership Benefits include: newsletters, field trips, and group activities.
Membership Responsibilities include: coordinating one field trip or group activity per year.
Leadership roles must be filled by members who have read and agreed with the group's statement of faith. A copy is available upon request. To join Nassau County Home Educators Support Group, please send application, waiver, and *$20.00 to:

Dear Home Educator,
The Board of the Nassau County Home Educators Support Group has decided to make this Release a part of the Group's membership requirements. It is provided to add emphasis to the fact that each parent is responsible for the safety and care of his child at all times. The Support Group organizes activities and field trips for us to involve our students, but we are each responsible for our children, not the Group. Please complete the form and return it with your application form. This one release is all that is required for any and all activities in which your children are involved during the year. Liability Release
We take full responsibility for all actions of any and all of our children during any activity organized by the Nassau County Home Educators Support Group and do not hold the Group responsible for any type of mishap that may occur during one of these activities. We understand that members of the Group organize activities and field trips for our children, but this in no way takes away our full responsibility for our children's care and safety during the activity or field trip.
