Pictures from Kozciusko National Park, NSW, Australia




These pictures were taken during our four day rental car road trip through the Australian bush. What a great time!









Here is the wombat. This guy is one of two we saw while there, despite an abundance of roadsigns for them like that above. Also frequent are kangaroo crossing roadsigns, some reasons for which are shown below.

These last two are from an overlook in a town called gundagai. It was a nice place to drive through as we were on our way to our first nights camping at Jounama creek, shown below..









That creek was a great place to camp; pictures never do the scenery justice, I am afraid. Below are a few pictures taken at Yarangabilly caves park. This place was really neat.
























The flowers above were seen at a roadside stop. They are called Lupine, according to Jill. Just what makes them wolfish, I dont quite know.
If anyone can tell me just what manner of mining machinery this is in the next photo, I would sure appreciate it.
