Concept: The concept of this game is to start out from absotlutely nothing in the Stone Age and slowly build up a civilization to the Imperial Age of warfare. Each civilization has its own specialty, whether it be a special military unit or an item that is reasearchable. While advancing through the ages you can research items that can make your empire run smoother. Things like the steel plow, gold mines, and calvary. The research is how you get better things that can make your empire more successful. There is also a Campaign section of the game in which you can play as a historical war hero and fight their battles. 19/20

Graphics: The graphics in this game are okay, but it's nothing that is going to blow you away. When during battle, fighting sequences actually look pretty good. The graphics in this game are as good as they can get for the fighting style that it uses. 18/20

Sound: There isn't too much sound in this game at all. Most of the time sound is the effect of you doing something on the gameboard. The sounds are pretty good espcially during battle. 18/20

Gameplay: The gameplay in this strategy game is real good. The fact that there is so much that you need to be doing at once and if you are good enough and understand what needs to be done you will easily win the game. It definetly rewards the smarter player unlike other games. 19/20

Fun: I used to play this game for hours , over and over again. If you get into this game you won't be able to stop playing. Microsoft put together an excellent game and an excellent franchise. 20/20

FINAL SCORE: 94/100
