Concept: Baseball. Nothing else to it. If you know what baseball is or have played baseball before, then there ya go. It has a single game mode, playoff mode, world series mode, and a season/franchise mode. It pretty much has everything a baseball game needs except trades and a Home Run Derby. I'll give it a 15/20
Graphics: I remember there were only 2 reasons as to why I bought thig game after I had rented it. And one of those reasons was because the game had the best graphics in any baseball I had seen at that point. When your up to bat it is so good. If you strike out, the batter will turn and yell and sometimes break his bat, which looks so funny. The graphics in this game are very good for an SNES game. I'll give it a 17/20
Sound: The sound is pretty nice. It has a sound for pretty much anything you do, catching the ball, hitting the ball, sliding, music in between innings, music during the game, and the umpire talks also. I dont really know what other sound effects I would want added to this game, the music/noise in this game is actually perfect for a baseball game. I give it a 19/20
Gameplay: This is the 2nd reason i bought this game, it is So Good! Lately this is the only game I have been playing, and I have an Xbox, dreamcast, game boy advance, regular nintendo, super nintendo, and sega genesis, and I havent touched anything involving those. Only play this baseball game. This game is in my top 3 list of all time baseball games, with another Ken Griffey game at #1. The batting/pitching aspect of this game is what makes it, feilding is basic, except the double play turn animation is very nice. (The 2nd basemen catches the ball, tags 2nd, jumps over the runner and throws to 1st.) I am seriously addicted to this game. I'll give it an 18/20
Replay Value: If you haven't noticed yet from my other reviews, the only games I tend to play are ones with a VERY good replay value. If I think a game sucks, its going in my drawer with all my other stupid games. The replay value of this game is so good. The games dont last extremly long and have you sitting there wondering how long its gonna take to finish, but then there not to short either, the length of the games is perfect. It seems to go a good pace and the fun factor of this game also increases the replay value. You know what replay value gets, a perfect 20/20
If you own a super nintendo, I seriously recommend you pick this game up, its about $1.99-3.99 at Funco Land, if you buy this, you won't be let down.
