Story: Mega Man's brother Proto Man has taken control of a group of crazed robots and is planning to take over the city. After Dr. Light is kidnapped by Proto Man it is up to Mega Man to save the city and rescue his creator. In order to go to Proto Man's lair you must first defeat all eight robots. These robots include Gyro Man, Star Man, Napalm Man, Crystal Man, Gravity Man, Wave Man, Stone Man, and Charge Man. The story really starts to pick up once you have defeated these bad guys and you advance to the castles. The storyline is the best out of all the mega mans but it still isn't great. You still go through the same motions of killing all of the robots and eventually facing the major villan. Maybe Capcom should introduce more about Mega Man's life to make it a little more intersting. 16/20

Graphics: The graphics for Mega Man V are good to great for the Nes console. Somtimes, however when too many enemies are on your screen the system seems to slow down and some of the enemies blur out. Overall they are excellent graphics for NES. 19/20

Sound: The classic tunes to this game are great when you are like 7 years old, but when you play the game for a long amount of time the sounds get very annoying. They are however classics so you can't critisize them too much. 13/20

Gameplay: The gameplay is just subpar if that. It all comes down to whether or not you like the style of just shooting things and gaining life. I think that the people at Capcom put a little more time into their enemies in this game then of previous because you have a much larger variety of what you are going to shoot. Just defeat all of the enemies to get to the boss' and beat them that's about it. 15/20

Fun: This game is loads of fun if you are a big Mega Man fan. It's all about the tradition that makes this game what it is. If you didn't like any of the previous Mega Man games you are not going to like this one either. It has the same basic concept except with new villans and more items. 17/20

FINAL SCORE: 80/100
