SPYRO 2: RIPTO'S RAGE! The second Spyro was created by Insomniac games in corporation with Universal.

Story: Spyro (the Dragon of course) and his sidekick Sparkx were looking ahead to their very relaxing vacation at Dragon Shores. However, of course this doesn't happen or there would be no game. Spyro was redirected to the worlds of Avalar. Ripto, the very short and powerful man who takes over Avalar, is ruining the hunky-doriness of everyday life for the creatures of Avalar. Therefore, you as Spyro navigate through the different worlds and realms helping those in need. Throughout the game it is a very good to collect the gems and orbs if you ever want to end the game to get Spyro and Sparkx on route to Dragon Shores. The boss levels are fairly difficult but of course are filled with patterns. 18/20

Graphics: Personally I think the graphics on this game are pretty decent especially since it's only a PS1. The camera rotation can be slow sometimes though so make sure you adjust camera speed and angles to your preference in the options menu. 18/20

Sound: The sound in Spyro is not overly annoying and actually seems to add an aspect to the game. If you turn the volume up, the sounds put you in sort of a trance and are very lifelike. No annoying beeping in this game. There is little music, though. 16/20

Gameplay: Gameplay throughout the game is fairly good. The level of difficulty on this game is fairly easy so if you like a challenge this is probably not for you. However, there are different creatures that you have to figure out how to get rid of and there is usually only one way to do it. Also, you may go throughout the levels charging, flaming or head-bashing creatures but there is no bloodshed. This game is most definitely for the weak-hearted. The controls for the game are also very easy to master but you can do a whole lot with them. 18/20

Fun: I found this game to be extremely fun. Once again, if you are not into action fuzzy games, this one is not for you. The scenery is fun to look at and explore and you never know what you're going to find. The orb levels located within each world are also a fun addition to the game. Each one is different and the game is not repetitive. 19/20

FINAL SCORE: 89/100
