Age: 22
Hometown: Midgar
Occupation: Florist
Weapon: Staff / Rod
Aerith seems like an ordinary girl at first. When we first meet her, she offers to sell Cloud a flower. But this girl has many secrets and she knows a lot more than one would think from just looking at her. She lives in the Sector 5 slums of Midgar with her adopted mother. Her real mother was an Ancient, a member of a race of highly intelligent beings that inhabited the planet long ago. Aerith is thought to be the last of her kind and the key to The Promised Land. She is a weak fighter in battle, but she has high magic skills and special healing gifts. She likes Cloud, but whether Cloud is receptive to her flirting is up to you. (Note: In the American version of the game, her name is Aeris, however it was translated wrong as her name is supposed to be Aerith.)
Where to find her: After blowing up the second Mako reactor, Cloud falls into a church where she tends the garden. Cloud volunteers to become her bodyguard and leads her home to the Sector 5 slums.
Level 4 Limit Break - Great Gospel
Near Gongaga, there's a small house where a blacksmith lives. Give him Mythril and he'll give you something special. So where's the Mythril? Take the buggy to Costa Del Sol and ride it into the town. Take the boat back to Junon. Go to Upper Junon and take the helicopter outside the town. You should still have your buggy. Now, take the buggy north over a shallow in the river. You should find a small cave with a sleeping man in it. He talks in his sleep. He'll tell you how many battles you've fought or how many times you've run away, etc. When he tells you how many battles you fought, check the number. Now, fight enough battles around that area so that the last two digits of the number of battles you fought are the same (for example, try to fight 255 battles). Then go see the man. If the last two numbers are the same, he'll wake up and give you something. He'll either give you the Bolt Ring or the Mythril. If he gives you the Bolt Ring, fight eleven more battles so the numbers are the same again and talk to him again. He should give you the Mythril this time. Now, take it to the blacksmith by Gongaga. He'll ask you if you want to open the large chest or the small box. Choose the small box. It has the Great Gospel in it. If you choose the large box, you get a Gold Armlet, which you don't need at this point in the game. The Great Gospel heals everyone to full HP, cures all status ailments, and brings dead characters back to life.
Most Powerful Weapon - Umbrella
You have to score 5,000+ points on the Speed Coaster in Gold Saucer. I've never done it. The Umbrella is her most powerful weapon, strengh-wise, but it has no slots for materia.
