Cloud is the central character in the game. He has a lot of secrets and hidden memories. He grew up in the town of Nibelheim (or so he thought), left for the industrial city of Midgar at the age of 16 to join Soldier, the elite military force of Shinra, Inc. There, he met Sephiroth, the greatest warrior in soldier. Sephiroth was a man to be admired...or so he thought. Fed up with Soldier, he became a mercenary and joined the rebel group Avalanche, a group dedicated to taking down the mighty empire that Shinra, Inc. has created. Cloud is the strongest fighter in the game and he's equally strong with Magic.

Level 4 Limit Break - Omnislash
With Omnislash, Cloud releases a flurry of 15 sword strikes to random enemies, each dealing moderate damage (3000-4000). You can get it if you score a cumulative total of at least 32,000 Battle Points in Battle Arena on Disc 3. You can get it on Disc 2, but it's more espensive and the battles are tougher.
Most Powerful Weapon - Ultima Sword
On Disc 3, Ultimate Weapon will be flying around. Chase him until he stops, then run into him with the Highwind. Fight him and he'll run away. Chase him until he stops and fight him again. Keep doing this until he stops near Cosmo Canyon. Then, after you defeat him this time, it will be for good. Once you defeat Ultimate Weapon, you get the Ultima Sword, which increases in power relative to Cloud's HP level.
