Vincent is pretty much a man of mystery. When you first meet him, he's lying in a coffin in the basement of the Shinra Mansion. He doesn't show much emotion, but he's dedicated to the cause of stopping Shinra as he was once affiliated with the corporation. You'll find out more about him as the game progresses. Even though he sleeps in a coffin, there's no indication that he's actually a vampire. His unique ability is that he can shapeshift. Unlike most characters, he only has four limit breaks, one for each level. Each one will turn him into a different monster. Be careful, though. When he turns, you lose control of him. He'll continue to bash your enemies with or without your approval. He has moderate magic levels, but the power of his guns is nothing special, except for perhaps the Sniper CR, with the highest hit rate possible and the Death Penalty, which increases in power the more enemies he kills.

Level 4 Limit Break - Chaos
When Vincent turns into Chaos, he's ready to get medieval on the asses of his enemies. Chaos is a winged demon with two different attacks. The first is the Chaos Saber, which hits all enemies for light damage. The second is Satan Impact, in which the ground beneath his enemies becomes shaped like a huge skull. It hits all enemies for major damage, sometimes actually killing them instantly. You find Chaos in Lucretia's Cave. Take the submarine and find the hidden lake. You go through a narrow cavern underwater, then you come up in the middle a lake with a waterfall. Dock the sub on the left side facing the waterfall and walk into the waterfall. You'll meet Lucretia and you'll find out about Vincent's past. Return to the cave later and you'll find Chaos as well as...
Most Powerful Weapon - Death Penalty
You find this the second time you visit Lucretia's Cave, along with Chaos. The power of Death Penalty increases for each enemy Vincent has killed and is a long range weapon like all of Vincent's weapons.
