"Som en dröm" - Östen Warnebring
The Swedish Final was held on February 24th in Stockholm, hosted by Maud Husberg. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 11 regional juries.

Östen Warnebring came 8th equal at the Eurovision. He had also won the 1960 Swedish Final, but wasn't chosen as the singer to go forward to the Eurovision that year. He also took part in the 1959 and 1962 Swedish Finals. Svante Thuresson represented Sweden in 1966.
