"Härliga sommardag" - Family Four
The Swedish Final was held on February 12th in Stockholm, hosted by Gunilla Marcus. The winning song was chosen by an "expert" jury with 11 members on it.

Family Four had already represented Sweden in 1971. At the Eurovision they were 13th. Östen Warnerbring represented Sweden in 1967, while Monica Zetterlund did the same in 1963.
