"Bunica bate doba" - Zdob si Zdub
"Grandma beats the drums, Grandma beats them hard"
The Moldovan Final was held on February 26th at the National Palace in Chisinau, hosted by Aurelia Vasilica & Valeriu Myrza. The winner was chosen by televoting (50%) and an "expert" jury (50%) - Zdob si Zdub won the televote while Millenium was favourite with the "expert" jury. Although the Edict song was titled on screen as "Vino bade", they sang a different song called "Ploaia ta".
