INSTRUCTIONS TO VISITORS :

1. Visitors are requested not to touch the exhibits .
2. Smoking is prohibited inside the Museum .
3. Visitors may please note that young children are not to accompany them to avoid disturbing the quiet befitting the Museum.
4. If visitors follow the arrows according to serial order, it will facilitate their visit . Their attention is kindly brought to the fact that the Department of Syrio-Oriental Antiquities where from the visitor is supposed to start lies , because of certain problems , unfortunately , in the middle of the Museum and not at the beginning
5. For any complaint or suggestion , visitors are requested to get in touch with the curator of the Museum or write complaint or suggestion , if any , on a piece of paper and drop it in the box placed for the purpose .
6. When students visit the Museum , the teacher accompanying them may please keep a close watch over their movements . It would be convenient if they come in small groups so that the teacher may be able to explain to them all the relevant points with perfect ease .

MUSEUM TIMING :

1. The Museum is closed on Tuesday only. It is open on all days of the week including the public holidays.
2. Summer                    9 - 18
3. Winter                      9 - 16
4. In the month of Ramadan, opening of the Museum is put back by one hour only.
