| Now and Then by © biidsis In the Indigo moment between night and day, i hurry through the morning mist to the warmth of my prayer circle. Pausing to watch the Ones Who Came Here Before Us. Their camp just rousing, in the moment between Now and Then. Before Grandfather Sun warms away the morning fog, they live again and walk among us. i sent up my smoke and reflected in my thanks, while the scent of their camp fires is carried to me in the mist. It mingles with my own smoke and makes it seem more humble. i gain a sense of Peace in this tiny moment, the moment between Now and Then, where we are all one Spirit, one Family. The mist moves aside and i see three figures approach, i have no fear as i have been told of them. So they are here to guide and teach this willing student. Grandfather, RedHealerThatLooksWest, and the Woman of the Stars. Oh the lessons they bring, the sights they give, humbling and blessing all at once. There is Orca mighty and playful, talking with family and dancing for me. Dolphins dance with them and bring a sense of protection and flight, if you can see what i mean. Freedom rings in their voices, their movement is bliss. They showed me birds of every kind and all creatures, and told me these are our brothers and sisters. They said, "watch over them as they will watch over you. Care for them andthey will care for you. Take your lessons from them, know they carry the Creator's wisdomand love." These three Guides both Honored and humbled me with all these sights. Thunder Beings visited and Graced the Standing Tribes and cleansed the Stone People and me. Then they were done, the moment was gone and Grandfather Sun cleared away the Mist and the Spirits and the Guides leaving me alone with the Gifts and Lessons. I am deeply, truly Grateful. Thank You, Sky Father, Thank You. bangan, biidaaban (be peaceful, a new day comes) |
